Neo Authenticator makes the 6- and 8-digit codes that services ask for when you turn on two-step verification (TOTP, the standard used by NeoMail and most websites and apps).
- Sign in once with your Neoemail or Kings
…Chat account, then codes are made on your phone with no network needed.
- Your accounts are kept in an encrypted vault, unlocked with your fingerprint, face or screen lock, and optionally a vault passphrase.
- Add accounts by scanning a QR code, from a screenshot, or by typing the setup key.
- Move your accounts in from Google Authenticator (its "Transfer accounts" QR codes), Aegis, 2FAS, Ente, Proton, Bitwarden, andOTP, FreeOTP+ and Stratum. Nothing is added until you review the list.
- Encrypted backups you control, protected by a recovery key or passphrase.
- Locks itself when you leave the app, blocks screenshots, and clears copied codes from the clipboard.
- Light, dark and seven colour themes.
Good to know: authenticator codes protect against stolen passwords, but a convincing fake website can still ask you for a code, so only type codes into the real site. Keep an encrypted backup: if you lose your phone without one, Neo cannot recover your codes.
